Truly a revelation from Woodingdean sculptor Eve Shepherd

Woodingdean based and extremely talented sculptor Eve Shepherd has collaborated with 4 other Brighton Artists who go by the name of Group 5 and in September they will have their first exhibition Revelations at the Naked Eye Gallery, 5 Farm Mews, Farm Road, Hove BN3 1AF between Sept 22 and October 7.

As well as sulpture by Woodingdeans’ favourite Eve, the exhibition will also feature paintings from artists Patrick O’Donnell, Christine Tongue and June Frickleton and drawings by Ian Hodgson .

The five met last November at the Palace Art Fair in Fulham and noticed that when their work was exhibited together there was a subtle interplay that bought a new excitement and an added dimension which felt like a natural progression for all of them. We chose the theme of Revelations and it has given us all the opportunity to explore the chasm between light and dark, good and evil.

Eve will also be exhbiting at the Brighton Art Fair 21 - 23 September, Brighton Corn Exchange
Fri 21 - open 11am to 7.30pm
Sat 22 - open 10am to 6pm
Sun 23 - open 10an to 5pm
