Songs for Belltree Celebrate National Music Therapy Week
It is National Music Therapy Week between ** 8 and 15 June**, and Belltree Music Therapy Centre is celebrating with an event on Sunday 9 June.
Belltree is a Music Therapy, based in Woodingdean and is the only music therapy centre in Sussex. It is a not-for-profit company which has been running for 5 years supporting children, young people and adults who find it difficult to communicate with words due to illness or disability. Those who Belltree treats have a range of conditions from autism to cerebral palsy as well as conditions that effect emotional and physical wellbeing. Belltree visits special schools, children hospices, residential homes and works with people who have been privately referred.
On Sunday 8 June, during National Music Therapy Week , Belltree is holding its ‘Songs for Belltree’ event at The Latest Music bar on Manchester Street, Brighton, between 3pm and 9pm. At the event there will be live performances and a collection of music therapists who you can talk to and who will give you lots of information about music therapy.
Tickets for the event are £4 for adults and £2 for concessions

Belltree will also be selling raffle tickets for loads of wonderful prizes donated by local musicians, artists and music shops. The top prize is two nights at a luxury yurt at Wowo camping! Tickets are £1 each, or ** £4 for a book of 5**.
You can buy raffle tickets from the Woodingdean in Business office, on Warren Road.
