NHS Plan for Future Care

Brighton and Hove NHS have made The Plan for better future care.** The plan shows what they aim to change and improve over the coming years. It has been built with the help of patients, the public, community and voluntary groups, GP's and nurses in the city, with
Brighton and Hove City Council and with the rest of the health service including neighbouring clinical commissioning groups and NHS England. They are focused around 5 main area's:

Community and primary care (GP) services
Mental Health
Hospital care in an emergency and planned
Children, young people and maternity
Medicines

They also plan to save £6m by 2015 without compromising on good healthcare, aiming to keep people out of hospital where they can, with more people being supported in the community or in their own home.
