Have you got a cake recipe that has been passed down from generation to generation, or a specific cupcake recipe that reminds you of happy family memories?
Edd Kimber, winner of The Great British Bake-Off, is asking the people of East Sussex to share their favourite baking memories and recipe as part of the competition Memories are baked of this.

The winner, who will be announced by January 31 2013, will receive a range of baking equipment and a master-class with Edd Kimber, a prize that has an excess of £1000!

The competition is run by British cooking thermometer company Thermapen. The winner will receive a SuperFast Thermapen, a signed copy of Edd's latest book, a KitchenAid Mixer, as well as a place on one of Edd's London-based macaron masterclasses. 8 runners-up will receive Superfast Thermapens (rrp £57.60)!

To enter Memories are baked of this send your family’s favourite cake recipe, a photograph of the finished cake, as well as 50 words that describe why your recipe is so precious to you, to thermapen@etiltd.com.. Don't forget to include your name, address and telephone contact details in your e-mail.

Entries must be received by ** Monday 31December 2012** with the subject line “Thermapen Baking Competition”.
