Friends of Downs View Success at Christmas Fayre in Woodingdean

On Saturday 1 December, the Friends of Downs View held a Christmas Fayre at Downs View School on Warren Road, Woodingdean.

The Fayre was a great success, raising just under £1900. There were loads of homemade gifts created by the parents, staff and pupils of the school. The money raised will go towards a soft play area for the pupils of Downs View School.

This was the first Christmas Fayre held by the Friends of Downs View and the organisers are very pleased that it went so well.

The charity are continuing to sell Christmas Cards, and some of the items that weren't sold at the fair.
