Evening Cafes for People Living with Dementia

Janis Simmonds, the co-ordinator for Brighton & Hove Dementia Café, would like to remind everyone about the service offered by the Woodingdean based Alzheimer’s Society. The Brighton and Hove Dementia Cafés (or De-Cafes) offer help to the friends and families of those living with dementia.

The cafes provide entertainment, refreshments and a place for people to socialise with others who are in a similar position. The cafes also provide information and professional support to those who attend.

The Brighton De-Café is held at Kemp Town Crypt Community Centre & Café, between 6pm and 8pm. And the Hove Dementia Café is held at Dyke Road Park Café in Hove between 5pm and 7pm.

The next dates for the Brighton Dementia Café will be on Wednesday 16 January, **Wednesday 20 February **and Wednesday 20 March.

The next dates for the Hove Dementia Café will be on Wednesday 30 January, Wednesday 27 February, and Wednesday 27 March.
