Cabaret raising money for the Martlets

Jo Jameson set up the Spotlight players 8 years ago because she wanted to put on a show 'It was a real family affair' she says 'I handpicked the cast from family and friends and put together a show featuring songs from my favourite show, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and my favourite film, Moulin Rouge. We put on two shows - a matinee and an early evening performance. It was meant to be a one-off show to raise money for a local charity but 8 years and 6 shows later we have become a bit of an institution. Our new show, on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 June at the Windmill Theatre, Nevill Avenue, Hove will raise money for the Martlets Hospice. The hospice has provided fantastic support for a number of people in the group and we are really pleased to be raising money for such a wonderful local cause.
