Beach of the Dead - Brighton Zombie Walk

On 20 October Brighton was infested with a swarm of Zombies!
Beach of the Dead VI is the sixth zombie parade to raid the streets of Brighton.
The zombie parade began at the Old Paddling Pool Site, the participants staggering their way through the town to Concorde 2 on Madeira Drive where an 80’s Zombie themed disco rounded off Saturday’s event.
Beach of the Dead is organised annually by Katie Amer, a self-confessed horror film fan. The inspiration for the walk came from her love of zombie movies and was enthused by similar walks held in America. The parade was advertised on social networks and has since grown from 200 to 2400 real-life zombies.
The imaginative zombies of Brighton showed their creative side and participated in the walk wearing weird and wonderful outfits, from dead brides to dead chefs!

Amongst a huge number of photographers at the event to take pictures of the amazing Zombie costumes was Woodingdean-based Danny Fitzpatrick. Although primarily a corporate photographer, you will also find Danny photographing dancers, events and shooting corporate videos. And last weekend, he took individual photographs of the participants of the Beach of the Dead. We set up a makeshift portable street studio he said give our Zombie portraits a real studio feel.

He has blogged these chilling portraits and a video of his work on his Facebook page www.facebook.com/pages/Dfphotography/160446400668204?sk=videos
Take a look and see if you, or anyone you know, are featured in his montage!
